A removal of a flashing light beacon when nearing Russeldale from the east of Perth Line 20 has gained the eye of officials at a recent West Perth Police Services Board Meeting.
One of the lights was removed earlier last month and West Perth OPP Sargent Jason McTaggart has yet to hear back from the Ministry of Transportation on why the light was removed.
Changes have been made around the entrance to Russeldale to remove collisions and make the are safer with some measures such as flashing red lights, stop signs and rumble strips.
