Observant Officer Stops Impaired Driver in Mount Forest

Wellington OPP have charged resident of North Perth with Impaired Operation after stopping them at Main Street South Business.

An observant officer was able to stop an impaired driver in Mount Forest on Tuesday.

At approximately 11:25 am an officer with the Wellington County OPP was speaking with a driver who was parked at a business on Main Street South in Mount Forest.

The officer suspected the driver had consumed alcohol.

As a result of an investigation a 33 year old male resident of Wellington North has been charged with impaired driving.

Their license has been suspended 90 days and their vehicle impounded for 1 week.

They are scheduled to appear at a Guelph court.
