Number of Firearms Seized in Wellington County

Two arrested to appear in court at a later date

On November 30th with the help from the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Canadian Border Security Agency, Wellington County OPP and Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at an address on Orangeville Street in the village of Hillsburgh.

OPP entered the home and seized a number of firearms and accessories.

As a result of investigation a 35 year old and 33 year old of Hillsburgh have been charged with a slew of firearm acquisition and storage related offenses.

Both will appear in Guelph court at a later date.
