North Perth staff will have a new property to work out of in Listowel.
Jeff Newel, Manager of Facilities brought forward a report to council regarding the site at 104 Wallace Avenue North to acquire the building as the current space used by staff is reaching its capacity and is shared with the OPP.
The fully furnished facility is ready for use by staff right away and as Newell says very little work will be needed to be done at the site.
“It’s fully furnished with office cubicles and desks so that was an attractive piece of the sale of the property. There will need to be some renovations for IT services, security and things like that which need to go into it’ said Newell.
Council gave its full approval for the acquisition of the property at the cost of $950,000.
