The North Perth Fire Department was dispatched last night for the 2nd time in the month for an unauthorized burn in the Wallace Ward.
Firefighters received a call from someone who had reported visible smoke and flames of the burn on Line 87.
Rural North Perth residents are reminded a burn permit is required for fires larger than 3 meters in size.
Open-air burns are only permitted during day time hours and those who are not in compliance could face costs associated in the fire departments response which runs at $510/hour plus HST.
