North Perth has announced the development of an Agriculture and Agri-Business Advisory Committee.
The municipality is now looking for members in agriculture and agri-business who are interested in sharing their voices to volunteer on the new committee.
Those who join will be working with the municipality and advise council on a list of agricultural matters with a focus to promote development, innovation and growth of the industry and related businesses in the municipality.
North Perth Mayor Todd Kasenberg says North Perth is the heart of Canadian agriculture and it makes sense to have a vision, plan and a group of a great citizens advising the municipality.
Recruitment will be open until May 7th.
