North Perth council meets tonight to discuss the North Perth electoral process and ward boundaries which could see a change in the coming municipal election.
In regards to the ward boundary review, it will be the first time discussing changes since July of 2013. The population of the municipality continues to greatly increase year by year up 13.5% from 1998-2016.
4 options will be discussed, keeping the Status Quo, Election at Large which will dissolve the current ward system, Public engagement to have the public provide input and request a consultant to evaluate and look at next steps.
Council meets at 7pm.
