North Perth dished out frequently asked questions in regards to clearing snow in the municipality.
Among them include sidewalk snow clearing which is done on a Monday-Friday basis and on a limited run on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays with routing mainly focused on pedestrian access to educational, medical and commercial areas.
Those who live on a corner lot may also have noticed plows may put snow in your driveway of which the municipality says those who live on corner lots or the first on the right of an intersection usually get more snow deposited in their driveways as when a snow plow turns right, it sweeps a much larger area than the road when traveling straight and snow also does not discharge from the truck.
Residents are also asked to not pile snow from their driveways in a way which covers fire hydrants and are encouraged to clear snow from fire hydrants on or around their property.
