The fire department of North Huron responded to a total of 41.5 calls in 2020 in the Morris-Turnberry area.
Fire Chief Marty Bedard said the half comes from a car crash which resulted in two cars of either side of the road splitting between Morris-Turnberry and North Huron.
Many fire prevention initiatives were tough to pull off added Bedard where they went virtual with such initiatives as they could.
The North Huron fire department’s reconciliation shows a surplus of $28,363.94
