An incident between two people in Listowel has Perth County OPP saying there is no issue to public safety.
Many residents shared across social media of reports of a man in a red sweater brandishing a knife while police were patrolling the area.
OPP say an altercation had broken out between two people who had known each other however presence of a weapon could not be confirmed.
The area was searched extensively by police however the suspect was not located.
Those involved did not cooperate with police.
