A small fire at Groves Memorial Hospital on Sunday saw patients be moved but no injuries took place.
Emergency crews responded to the hospital just after 7am.
In a release, Alison Armstrong says nursing staff were quick to respond to the blaze and put the fire out.
No injuries occurred with only minor damage being reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
