The Wellington County Museum and Archives is rolling out a new exhibition which celebrates the diverse journeys of people who have built their lives in Wellington County.
The exhibition, dubbed Destination Wellington: Newcomers to Neighbours draws from the popular Wellington Welcomes profiles showcased in 2023 as well as newly researched historical stories from Wellington County’s newcomers and immigrants.
Curator, Hailey Johnston says this exhibition highlights both the challenges newcomers have faced and the tremendous positive impact they’ve had on our communities.
The exhibition will remain on display until spring 2026.
