A new school in Drayton is not set to open until 2027, a year later than what was expected.
The now named St. Martin of Tours Catholic Elementary School and Mapleton Childcare Centre continues to be under construction and is being addressed in several phases.
While the childcare centre will open in December next year, the elementary school construction won’t be completed until Spring 2027 with the first students not taking class until September.
Student registration is expected to be open at the school in spring next year.
