New Data Shows COVID-19 Strains Among Ontarios Biggest Issue

COVID-19 strains could make up 40 percent of cases

 

New modeling data shows new variants of COVID-19 could make up at least 40 percent of the provinces cases by the 2nd week of March.

While initial data shows the drop in cases and those in hospital are signs of promise, its expected the new variants will bring more back into hospital beds.

Officials say its a very risky period in the coming weeks and should cases spike out of control again, the province must be prepared to act quickly and have strong public health measures prepared.
