Wellington County has opened the doors of the new 38,900 square foot Arthur Garage.
Designed by L. Allan Grinham Architects and built by Dakon Construction, the new garage is barrier free and meets the County’s highest Green Legacy Building Standard, ensuring the garage is energy efficient and environmentally responsible.
Wellington County Warden Chris White says the new garage will enhance and support operations and improve public safety and is the third County garage to be replaced with a larger modernized facility.
The opening coincides with National Public Works Week as a key event to recognize and celebrate public works in the County.
