A new accessible dock has been installed in St Marys at the Thames River with the help of a Government of Canada investment.
Through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario and a community donation, the town last week was able to install the new dock in a section of the river near the north end of Milt Dunnell Field.
The need for an accessible dock was made by residents and visitors during a survey around the revitalization of Milt Dunnell Field.
Other improvements to the field include paving the parking lot, adding new accessible washrooms and revitalization the lawn bowling building and playing field.
