Around 1600 pigs are dead after a barn fire north of Arthur on Monday.
Wellington North Fire was called to the scene just after 4:30pm on Sideroad 5 East in Derrynane.
Fire crews from Minto and Dundalk also assisted to the barn fire call. Crews assist Wellington North Fire on the scene and shuttling water to the blaze.
While pigs died in the fire, there were no injuries to any civilians or firefighters.
