With the election wrapped up and John Nater being re-elected, it wasn’t just the general election where he won as he also won in the local student vote.
Student Vote Canada who held a nationwide vote with local candidates in each riding saw Nater be the winner with 50.5 per cent of the vote.
Liberal candidate Dave Mackey came in 2nd in the student vote with 27.7 per cent followed by Kevin Kruchkywich of the NDP with 14.1 per cent.
Across the country the student vote came out different than the general which saw the Conservatives win with a minority government in the student election.
