Despite the World Health Organization warning about dangerous trends with mix and matching COVID-19 vaccines, Canadian health officials are defending the use.
Chief Scientist for WHO is advising against mixing vaccines as there isn’t enough data to support its use.
However Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunizations says it is safe to use Pfizer and Moderna interchangeably when the same vaccine isn’t readily available.
