MVA Stratford is among those receiving a boost from FedDev Ontario to adopt advanced technologies and enhance competitiveness.
The federal government’s new auto strategy is aimed to build a stronger, more sustainable and more independent economy built on the foundation of strong Canadian industries and bolstered by diverse international trade partners.
The feds are dishing out over $1.6 million for two auto manufacturers with MVA Stratford receive over $886,000 to modernize its core production lines through the adoption of new specialized equipment.
Eric Wheal, General Manager of MVA Stratford says this support will enable them invest in modern, energy efficient machinery which secures the current business and strengthens their ability to pursue new opportunities.
