Multiple news sources are quoting Government sources saying that the Province will announce a Province Wide lockdown starting Christmas Eve.
This move would affect all regions of the Province with them placed in the grey-lockdown stage of the Covid-19 protection framework.
The government source has indicated the length of the lockdown will vary depending on region, so the length for all areas is not known.
Doug Ford is expected to announce the additional measures at 1 pm press conference on Monday. He held emergency meetings with health officials over the weekend.
