Mount Forest Man Racks Up Multiple Charges

A 30 year old of Mount Forest racked up a list of charges after being caught by a license plate reader.

On September 22nd at around 7pm, a Wellington County OPP officer received a notification from their Automated License Plate Recognition system of a possible suspended driver on St David Street North in Fergus.

Police stopped the man and he was arrested and charged with a slew of offenses including Operation while Impaired, Driving Under Suspension, Failure to have Insurance and Possession of Unmarked Cigarettes.

The accused was released from custody and given a future court date in Guelph.
