The World Para Ice Hockey Championships are scheduled to kick off Saturday in the Czech Republic.
Playing for Canada at the tournament is Monkton’s Corbyn Smith.
Canada kicks off it’s action on Saturday at 9am versus Team USA.
Their schedule continues Sunday at 5:30 am versus South Korea and then Monday at 8:30 am versus the host Czech Republic.
Smith was a Silver Medallist for Team Canada at the Paralympic Winter Games.
He had 3 goals and 3 assists in 2017 in the World Championship helping Canada to a Gold Medal.
