The Monkton Lions Club is holding a water sampling event on October 25th, an event all about ensuring your family and friends are safe.
Water sample bottles will be available from a variety of locations including Wietersen’s Country Store, the New Monkton Diner, the library and T&J’s Variety.
Residents are asked to use the bottles to collect a water sample from their well to the Monkton Community Centre with the samples being delivered to Huron Perth Public Health.
The Monkton Lions are encouraging as many residents to take part to check on the safety of their well water and learn more about protecting and maintaining your well and septic systems.
