Discussion is growing in North Perth in regards of a dog park, this one in Monkton.
This was during a park committee meeting earlier this week. The location of the dog park is looking at between the ball diamond and naturalization area bordered by the G2G trail.
When asked about the interest of a dog park in Listowel, Jeff Newell, Manager of Facilities says its very possible of having 2 dog parks for the municipality in the near future.
“Because of the population base there is more of an interest for a dog park in the Listowel area. That being said, I wouldn’t be against at some point in the near future having two dog park locations.” said Newell.
There is not much word in regards to a dog park in Listowel at this time, discussion was mainly focused on Monkton.
