The Mitchell Hawks will be honouring West Perth’s Veterans at their upcoming game this Saturday against the Goderich Flyers.
This is just the first in a series of events meant to commemorate the sacrifice of the area’s residents who fought in a conflict.
The West Perth poppy campaign commences on Friday with poppies being distributed to local businesses and schools.
There will be a ceremonial puck drop by the Legion at Saturday’s game at 6:45 pm.
There is also set to be lunch delivery for veterans and their spouses on Friday, November 4th.

The Remembrance Day Ceremony is set for the Mitchell Cenotaph on Friday, November 11th beginning at 10:45 am.
