A Mitchell native has returned from her first deployment as part of the Canada’s military.
Lisas Tubb, who is entering her fourth year of service for the Canadian Navy was the Public Affairs Officer on the HMCS Harry DeWolf as it made its maiden voyage in the last few months of last year 2021.
The journey saw her travel around North America wit a crew of 65 people.
Tubb is a graduate of Mitchell District High School, earning a Bachelor Degree through the University of Guelph and a Masters at Waterloo.
Tubb’s Father is the Station Chief of the West Perth Fire Department, Jim Tubb.
