The Mitchell Hawks are making moves ahead of the start of the upcoming 2022-23 hockey season.
The team announced Tuesday afternoon that they had acquired 2002 defenceman Brady Brezynskie from the Wellesley Applejacks.
Also announced in concert was the departure of Patrick Holloway who was traded to the Woodstock Navy Vets. The team wished Holoway all the best going forward.
The team also announced the signing of goaltender Deklan Jermol late Tuesday. He won an OMHA championship with the Mitchell U18 team last season.
The team faced the New Hamburg Firebirds in their first pre-season game Tuesday night.
