Minto Pride Gearing Up for Pride in The Park

It’ll be busy next month for Minto Pride who once again is going all out for different events in just a few weeks.

Pride in the Park will be returning again on June 11th from 12-3pm in Palmerston at Heritage Park.

The all age event includes food and craft vendors, face painting and a walk through the park.

Rosie Krul, a committee member with Minto Pride says in years past Pride in the Park has been well attended.

“We’ve been really blown away from the community support and the attendance and it was even bigger the next time we had which was 2 years later due to COVID. It’s been really well received and we’re really excited to be running it again this year.” said Krul

Minto Pride is also keeping busy with a Drag Night fundraiser at the Crown in Harriston on June 10th. Krul says this is another great returning event to look forward to.

“We’d love to see everyone there at the Crown, that’s always been a really popular event. The Crown is always great to support us”

Minto Pride is also selling yard signs and window decal stickers which can all be found on their Facebook page.

Proceeds from the events and signs goes directly back to Minto Pride for future events and initiatives.
