The Town of Minto, in a move they say is their continued commitment to safeguarding the health, wellbeing and safety of their employees, implemented an infectious disease and vaccine policy.
The policy means all staff of the Town are expected to follow public health guidance and get vaccinated including a second dose or booster shot.
The policy currently applies to the Covid-19 pandemic but there may be other public health risks in the future that fall within the policy.
The Town says they want to take a leadership role and make sure we are ready to meet those challenges.
