Minto council has given their support to the Chamber of Commerce to Westario Power to look into concerns about frequent power outages in the west end of Harriston.
The Minto chamber to Westario says they have continued to hear from businesses about the issue of power outages across the community which has led to financial loses with the chamber calling for immediate attention and action to address the issue.
The Chamber is requesting Westario to begin an investigation into the cause of the power outages and put in measures to stop the issue and future outages affecting local businesses.
