The Avon Maitland District School Board has made the decision to close Milverton Public School due to a Covid-19 outbreak that is active at the site.
The school has seen 9 cases diagnosed in students and 1 in staff since it was declared on October 27th.
The school posted on Social media that due to Covid-19 activity among members of the school it would be closing today and not reopening until at least Monday, November 8th.
The classes will now switch to online learning during the time of the suspending of in-person classes.
