Bruce Power has announced President and CEO Mike Rencheck is retiring as of June 30th.
Rencheck while hanging up his hat will assume the role of executive vice-chairman and serve as a senior advisory to Bruce Power.
Eric Chassard the current executive vice-president of projects and engineering will be promoted to President and CEO as of July 1st.
Chassard joined Bruce Power in 2019 to his current role who has led the on time and on budget delivery of the Life Extension Program.
In a release, Chairman of Bruce Power Board of Directors Bob Aziz says Eric’s leadership experiences represents a combination of nuclear power operations and project management as well as extensive regulatory and stakeholder relations experience.
