Migrant workers who have come to the region to work have begun to receive their COVID-19 vaccines.

Huron County Paramedics with the help of Huron-Perth Public Health are working on vaccinating migrant farm workers living in congregate housing to protect them from COVID-19.

Last year, COVID-19 outbreaks at farms were among the worst in the province and are still considered one of the highest at risk this season.

Huron County Paramedics last week also worked with public health and the Huron County Homelessness Program to vaccinate at risks individuals without a home.
