The Middle Maitland Rejuvenation Committee is holding its annual river clean up this weekend.
Residents are welcome to come do their part in cleaning up around the Maitland River starting at 9am with everyone meeting at the municipal office.
Those who want to help out are asked to wear their own boots and bring their own gloves.
Garbage bags will be provided for the clean up.
Last year volunteers pulled 772lbs of waste from the river and the banks.
