Holly McGill of Listowel has been named as one of the finalists in the Canadian Cattle Young Leaders Mentor ship Program.

The program as part of the Canadian Cattle Association saw a competition of 22 semi finalists in a judged round table discussion at the Canadian Beef Industry Conference in Penticton, British Columbia in August. McGill was one of 16 finalists named from the pool.

McGill works as a ruminant nutritionist at Wallenstein Feed & Supply.

Each finalist has been given a $2000 budget to put towards beef industry travel and learning opportunities.

The mentor ship program is open to young people across Canada between the ages of 18 and 35.
