Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae has taken in a new role as a parliamentary assistant.
Rae who was first elected in 2022 was appointed as an assistant to the Minister of Education who has now shifted to municipal affairs and housing.
In a release, Rae states a first time homeowner and one of the youngest member in the caucus, he knows firsthand the pressing need to build more houses.
Parliamentary assistants help the ministry who they work under with legislative duties as well as assist with policy formation.
Rae will work alongside Steve Clark, the minister of municipal affairs and housing.
