It was the start of Matthew Rae’s campaign as the Conservative Candidate for Perth-Wellington for the provincial election.
Rae kicked off his campaign at Knapp’s in Listowel, a family owned business since 1962.
In a release, Rae says since winning the PC nomination he’s kept busy with knocking on doors and meeting with voters.
Rae adds the biggest issue he’s heard has been affordability and says the government is taking action to bring costs down and he is focused on making life more affordable for the people of Perth-Wellington.
Election day is Thursday June 2nd.
Perth-Wellington will also have representation for the Liberals, NDP and New Blue Party of Ontario.
The Green Party has not listed a Perth-Wellington candidate on their website.
