Mapleton Township will likely close out their year with a $350,000 year end deficit however still remains in good position to come out on top as part of its three year budget.
The projection, presented by Director of Finance, John Morrison says the projection could change soon as the township receives tax payments.
Some councilors still raised some questions regarding to hold off on large spending which Morrison responded saying there likely won’t be any large change in terms of big spending to affect the deficit.
Council received the report in a vote.
