The community of Mapleton is in mourning with the loss of Moorefield Firefighter, Captain Scott Moore.
An obituary writes Moore left he world surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday at the age of 49.
Scott served on the Mapleton Fire Department for 25 years and the Captain of the Moorefield Station.
