Mapleton council is giving some thought on joining the Employee Health Plan.
This move would include council members in the health benefits plan given for municipal staff which will be discussed at the next meeting.
A motion made by councilor Amanda Reid called for council to look into the cost implications to include members of council in the staff health benefits plan.
A report is expected from the finance department to outline a cost breakdown for the February 13th meeting.
