Sergeant Manny Coelho has been recognized for 35 years of service to Perth County OPP.
Manny started his career as an Auxiliary member with the Listowel Police Department back in 1987 who then become a part time officer in 1989 with Palmerston Police before becoming full time with Midland in 1995.
It wasn’t until 2001 when Manny returned home and worked as a constable in Listowel until his promotion to Sergeant in 2009 and was posted to Northern Ontario in White River for three years.
Manny returned to Listowel once against where he remains as a Contract Sergeant for North Perth.
Manny in a statement says it’s been a journey and he is honoured to receive this recognition from the Perth County OPP Police Services Board adding at the end of the day its about serving the citizens and community of North Perth.
