Masking has returned as a requirement when entering clinical area with the Listowel-Wingham Hospitals Alliance.
Masking will recommended but not required at non-clinical sites with masks being available throughout sites including the at the entrances.
The call for masking to return to hospitals comes during community transmission rates and the return of respiratory illness season.
Universal masking could be reintroduced based on disease activity during the season and for outbreak management.
Masking will be required in the areas at Listowel-Wingham Hospitals Alliance sites;
-Inpatient Units
-Emergency Department
-Outpatient Clinics
-Imaging
-Outpatient Lab
-Waiting Rooms
Masking is recommended but not required in non-clinical areas;

-Elevators
-Cafeterias
-Meeting Rooms
-Administrative Offices
