The Hillsburgh Feed & Supplies is set to close after serving the Hillsburgh and Erin communities for nearly six decades.
The family-owned business has seen its property sold and is set to close at the end of the month.
The feed supply shop has been in business since 1966, when the grandfather of current owners Don & Dave Cheyne, and their father first setup shop.
The owners give several factors that led to the closure including aging equipment, their own ages and the next generation not wanting to take over the business.
Hillsbourgh Feed & Supplies is located at 29 Trafalgar Road.
