A special cheque was delivered today to local insurance brokers Van Allen Insurance all in support of youth mental health.
The $5,000 donation was from Intact Insurance’s Better Communities Program and sees the money go in support of the Huron Perth Centre for Children and Youth’s Mental Health First Aid Project.
The community-based children’s mental health centre provides assessment and treatment services for a wide range of mental health concerns for children and youth under the age of 18.
Their work is guided by 4 key values of strength, family, dignity & worth and collaboration.
