The Avon Maitland District School Board and Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board are both looking into a cybersecurity incident which forced their student information systems offline.
The incident has resulted in the systems used for tracking student attendance and report cards has been offline since last Friday.
The company that hosts the service, Edsembli took the system offline while they investigate with a cybersecurity specialist.
Families will be notified if the school boards learn of any personal information being compromised.
