The Local Listowel Capitol Twin Cinema took to social media to make an appeal to movie goers. They say that with current restrictions they are unable to sell concession food for people to eat while they watch a movie.

They advise movie goers that the concession is where they make their money to keep their doors open. They say they haven’t increased ticket prices during the course of the pandemic and offer a great value that way.

Of every dollar the theatre takes in 76% goes to the Government or Film Studios. The rest is what pays employees, hydro, taxes, delivery charges etc.

They are now offering take out concession for movie goers to either pre-purchase with their ticket and take when they leave, or simply stop in and take the movie food experience home with them.
