According the Ministry of Education high school graduation rates are around the provincial average for students who started grade 9 in 2017 and 2018.
With the Avon Maitland District School Board, students who started grade 9 in 2017 hit a graduation rate of 81 per cent just under the 82.4 per cent provincial rate with 2018 grade nine students reaching an 80.6 per cent graduation rate, again under the 84.9 per cent rate from the province..
Within the Upper Grand District School Board, 82.4 per cent of students who started grade 9 in 2017 were 82.4 per cent for a graduation rate.
For students who started high school in 2018 the graduation rate was 84.2 per cent.
