Listowel Minor Hockey shared word that its U13 Local League 1 team won the “A” Division at the U13 Doug Perkes Memorial Tournament in Seaforth this past weekend.
The tournament put on by the Mid-Huron Huskies saw the team go undefeated in the four games facing the host team, Bruce Peninsula Predators, Tavistock Titans and Midland Centennals.
They faced the hosts again in the Final and won 9 to 2.
Also of note was the U15 Rep B team who won the Bill Batten Memorial Tournament in South Huron as well this past weekend.
The team also went undefeated in their 4 games leading to the final with victories over the Paris Wolfpack, Elmvale Coyotes, Centre Hastings Grizzlies and Goderich Sailors.
They faced the host South Huron Sabres in the Final and won 3-2.
