A Listowel resident faces multiple charges after being arrested last Thursday.
Perth County OPP responded to a report of an altercation on Elizabeth Street in Listowel. Upon speaking to the victim the investigation revealed an assault had been committed but no injuries were reported as a result.
A 35 year old resident of Listowel was later arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats of bodily harm and death.
The accused was released from custody and is schedule to appear in a Stratford courtroom at a later date to answer to the charges.
